MESOPOTAMIA, Edessa. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (25.5mm, 13.85 g, 6h). Radiate and cuirassed bust right, holding shield decorated with gorgoneion on left shoulder, and raising right hand / Tyche seated left on rocks, holding patera; below, river god swimming right; to right, cornucopia. RPC VI Online 7756/7752 (obv/rev); BMC 63/60 (same). Earthen red-brown patina, minor porosity. VF. Unpublished obverse/reverse combination.
